
Aubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984, is a comedian and actor well-known for her characteristic deadpan sense of humor. Plaza portrays April Ludgate, a character on"The Parks and Recreation" series "Parks and Recreation" series. She has performed improv as well as Sketch Comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and performing her first web-based show in the form of "The Jeannie Tate Show", Plaza went on to star in Judd Apalow's "Funny People," as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World later in her life. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial specialist David Plaza. Both her parents are both Irish-born and British. Plaza graduated from an Catholic all-girls high school in 2002, and then from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. The president was of her student body at her high school and participated in Wilmington Drama League productions during the time she was a senior. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 when she was in her 2nd year of her university career. She developed expressive aphasia, and experienced briefly involuntary paralysis. The condition has since improved.
