Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on the 2nd of December, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her roles in TV shows and films. Brandt has made her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. Brandt began her acting career as a New Zealander who appeared on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress was a part of numerous television series during the last decade including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Brandt was first introduced to the role of Mazikeen (the part performed by Tom Ellis Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro) in the Urban-fantasy show Lucifer at the beginning of the year 2016. Brandt was originally from Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late the teen years. Brandt began her modeling career by appearing in advertisements as well as in print ads. She was employed as an IT recruiting consultant and also in retail prior to becoming a well-known fashion model. In 2009 she was cast on an New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021 she appeared in Spartacus Blood and Sand as a young slave girl named Naevia. In addition, she reprised her character of Naevia for the prequel miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with Craig Parker.
