Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative direction she would take. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. However, she left prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the main voice of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It was released in 1993. It was an enormous success as well as selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. In the late 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox started her own solo career with their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass.
